Why I Became a Florist
My name is Aimee and my journey into floristry began from a place of love, loss, and healing. While I was pregnant, we heartbreakingly lost our baby boy, Harry, who was born sleeping at full term. In the midst of unimaginable grief, I felt an overwhelming need to create something beautiful for him—his funeral flowers. It was the only thing I could do for him, and it meant everything to me.
That experience sparked something in me. I wanted to learn, to create, and to bring comfort to others through flowers, just as I had found comfort in creating something for Harry. I went to college, studied hard, and gained the qualifications I needed to become a florist. Lilly Bows Bespoke Florist was born not just from a passion for flowers, but from a deep place of love, strength, and purpose.
Now, every bouquet I create carries that same care and meaning. Whether it’s for a joyful celebration or a final goodbye, I pour my heart into each arrangement—because I know just how powerful flowers can be.
